Do let me know if y'all get bored with these posts. ;)

Weekend treasures follow. There's a nice woman who phones me when she's going to the booty. The lapis, Blue John and two silver pendants came from her. (Have I said how much I hate tiny hallmarks?)

Brooch is interesting, French probably and I've forgotten who made the damn glass.

Love seeing your stuff. Gives me an eye for what to look for. Thank you for taking the time to photograph and post. I love the lapis bracelet. I woud have assumed plastic and never picked it up.

I'd have bought the lapis even as plastic, I love the colour. It's HEAVY!

    Forgot the Toledo Ware.

Yes. I turned down a string of beautiful carnelian beads, 1 they were on a thin string, but mostly it was very heavy.

I'd have run off with the carnelians so fast... restringing isn't that difficult. The mark on the first sterling necklace looks like legit, if sloppy, Italian.

Is that bracelet Amethyst or fluorite? Lovely.

It's not amethyst, she reckoned it was Blue John. I certainly think it's a fluorite form.

Blue John in that weight would cost a bomb these days, and I doubt anyone would make an elastic bangle out of it. More likely regular fluorite.
