Not really sure what this is? A mould or model/form? Marked Mossberg Mfg Co. 281. Any ideas? There’s the Mossberg firearm company but there could have been another Mossberg I’m sure. Pulled it out of a barn at one of the best sales I ever attended 5+ years ago. 3CCC880A-4696-4983-9459-8C7FC68E4549.jpeg A9ACBB0C-83E6-4932-95D6-44F0244BB9A8.jpeg CE9D3B9D-50D5-47E2-8224-7D211C01BABE.jpeg 841EE61E-933C-4301-8920-E452AE922CB3.jpeg E927A538-5406-4DAA-99ED-866377DCBCCC.jpeg

Look like a foundry pattern to me. But I haven't figured out the product.

All wood. It fits fairly well and I think the numbers match.

That makes sense. Looks more like a tiny chair leg than anything else I can think of. I’m sure thats not it though lol.

I was thinking foundry mold too; I've seen a lot of old wooden ones. Before WWII that's how it was done.
