    Hello everyone!

I'm new to the forum and recent first time home buyer!
We found this cabinet in our basement and we would like to know more about it and perhaps its value.
It has the logo of Koronette. After a bit of research, it comes up as mid-century East German manufacture. I haven't seen one quite like ours, they always have a fireplace or are a lot smaller. It weighs a ton. I don't mind it, I appreciate vintage design but my husband calls it the "haunted cabinet" lol.
Any and all opinions welcome! koronette is the model. manufacturing year 1966 - 67.
the company was August Peter in the city of Plauen, a company that did the cabinets only and put in whatever music equipment was available at the given moment or asked by the customer. I'm sure it would sell in Germany because there are collectors for all those comniss atrocities.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

That is a real conversation piece! You could store a lot in there, if nothing else.

    Of course Mutti knows....
And I guess I am getting too old.:pompous: We still call certain German monstrocities 'Arbeiterdenkmal', a remnant of that period.;)

Just so others don't think I am talking in code, Arbeiterdenkmal= (Socialist) worker's monument.
