    Hello there,i'm from Indonesia.I am "new" into antiques just about 6 years ago,and i just found this helpful forum recently,so i hope i can search some answer about my antiques here and also help some questions about south east asian/indonesian antiques especially,nice to meet you all,thank you!

    i'm from java island,we have lot of antiques from colonial netherland indische or chinese heritage also some ancient javanese.thanks for your warm welcome!

    Java has an amazing history, the ancient kingdoms, the Spice Route connections.
    I have some Madurese and Javanese ancestry, and my husband is from Malang, East Java.

    whooahh...i'm surprised,yeah many antiques here,malang was a capital of ancient kingdom of majapahit,rich of its history,nice to meet you anyway!

    Yes, it was, and we both also have a family Majapahit connection, we are both related to the Majapahit Brawijaya dynasty. My side is through the Tjakraningrat/Cakraningrat family of Madura.
