Might be Portuguese. Could you/would you post a photograph of the bottom? (I assume nothing is written on it.)

Here's something modern but similar in motif from Portugal.

Here's a better example of Coimbra pottery. Stylized deers are often depicted. This is antique, of course, and rather grand. Your piece is much more humble.

It means there was a spam post above (likely offensive given the many!s) and gregsglass was kind enough to report to moderator for removal.

Difficult to say, it was in transcripted Vietnamese.;) But the spammer (with a very Scandinavian false name) spam-bommed the forum. So you will come across several 'reported' posts, and Greg probably got fed up.

Hello, thank you for your help. The only thing on the bottom Is Wyckoff which is the name of the family that it came from. What I have been told is that it is old, really old, European Tin glazed earthenware, Portugal, Greece, Italy or maybe Syrian. Thanks for your help.

Many members, when they encounter Spam posts, want to help by reporting them. To keep the moderators from being over-whelmed by everyone reporting the same post, a "Reported" is posted by whoever first reports it so that doesn't happen.

It might possibly work better if the moderator could remove that post along with the Spam, which would avoid any future confusion. But with a world-wide membership, and moderators in different time zones, sometimes spammers take advantage of the situation. So if you see a "Reported" post, it doesn't refer to an on-going discussion, it's proof that the moderators are doing a great job, and have deleted a spammer!
