Got this guy last weekend at the most prolific estate sale I’ve ever attended. This guy had tonnage! I really picked the scraps for the most part. This little guy was left after three whole days and hundreds and hundreds of buyers. I feel inclined to give him a new home. Some very similar ones have people asking around $200. Can you tell me anything about my guy and why is or isn’t in that price range? I can’t seem to find any markings on him anywhere. One leg is longer than the other, unsure if that normal or not. The clothes seem to be very well done. Overall it seems like a nicely made piece to me but I’ve never had another to compare it to.

    He is truly lovely, J.
A puppet, I don't know if he is Chinese made or a representation of a Chinese made in some part of southern Asia.
There is probably a way of getting them the same length, if you check further up under his clothes. I dare you.;)

Haha, thanks! I dared to do so and didn’t find anything further. He’s all stump legged man.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Oh, I like this! I hope you managed to get the big price label off of his chest.

He probably had a wig originally, with a long braid.
