This is one of my wifes highly treasured oddities. She says that it is some kinda sought after glass cat figurine. There are no markings on the bottom. Any ideas of its value or importance? 20170514_121335.jpg

So it's value lies in the eyes of its beholder?

Never mind the cat, what's with the wine glass? Valuable? Top vintage Petrus?

    Antonio de ros for Cenadese

The values can vary greatly, maybe by size and definitely by features... There are quite a number of Cedenese cats

That only shows an estimate and that's a pair so don't go too crazy - i didn't see one go for over 350 (quick search on phone)

Nice - glad you posted :)

    Okay...
So maybe shes right in telling me, "it's not just an ugly glass cat." Thank you and now time to eat crow and say that she was right

The only thing vintage is the merlot. Kinda sad drinking merlot from a plastc cup but even sadder to keep mopping it up from the floor. Haa

I know the problem, clumsy as anything. Merlot is good.
Just to fill you in, the stone wall has become a running gag. Someone posted pictures of very nice scales against a flintstone wall, and I only asked questions about the wall (19th century, signed, seriously!).

Sadly I haven't been able to drink Merlot for decades, 2 types of porphyria say no.

But I think it is because I've been in jobs (in another lifetime) where I had to keep an eye on everything. Either for theft prevention, or to make sure that a 3ft. person sitting alone at a dark corner table also gets a meal.
And I buy on obscure Dutch websites where anyone can list things and you just bid. My bids and accompanying friendly messages are partly based on what I see about the person in the background. A tiny bit of psychology goes a long way;).
