I'm wondering if this is the work of the late Actor George S. Irving, and if it's accurate to call it mixed media cubism? Thanks.

 

Bit of a stretch, isn't it? Not signed with his full name and his biography gives no indication that he was a visual artist.

I have seen pieces by other actors not known for visual art, but, yeah, a stretch for sure. My guess is pencil and acrylic.

 

Placing money that it is by an artist whose first name begins with an S and not by an actor named George. Next, are you sure that this is a mixed media work? It appears to be a limited edition print and you have number 7 out of 12.

 

Yes, it has cubist, abstract and imagist elements but again, I think it’s a print and not a mixed media work.
