Hi everyone! I can’t believe I didn’t think to ask you all about this pot earlier. I’ve had it for years and never figured out the maker. I saw a yellow version on EBay once listed as a “Van Briggle.” Just about laughed my socks off. Anyone have any insight?
    Thanks!! :)

Please educate me: Why can't this possibly be an (unmarked) VB?

I call stuff like that "American art pottery." :smug:

Not a pottery expert here, but my gut reaction to this pot is Weller Pottery. It certainly has the yellow clay that Ohio is known for.

I’m definitely not an expert so maybe I’ll be eating those socks I laughed off!! :wideyed:
I just thought it was too low caliber to be a VB. Don’t get me wrong, I like it- it just doesn’t seem right at all. I didn’t know there were unmarked Van Briggles!! Maybe I better find a good sock recipe. :hungry:

I remembered one of the reasons I didn’t think it was a Van Briggle! I’ve never seen a VB that is a different color inside than the outside. Again, I definitely could be wrong, that’s just my observation.
