    Hi,
    Studio piece. Made as a souvenir in 1988. Williamsburg VA has thousands of these things made for tourists from all over.JMHO

    This sort of thing is sold as a tourist souvenir all over New England; I don't know about further south. Shops can buy them with the town name marked on the side like this one and sell them for a fair chunk of change. You then find them in the thrifts and at yard sales for about 1/5 of the original price.
