Native Indian folk art or kid's art project?

    I've acquired this unique wood statuette which seems to be some kind of bird humanoid. I'm guessing it was either a kid's art project or maybe native american folklore? It is covered in an epoxy resin, which I'm sure Pocahontas did not invent epoxy :)
    There are 20181116_173716.jpg 20181116_173822.jpg no identifying marks of any kind.

    Any help identifying this thing would be appreciated.

    Agree. I see no reason to accuse any Native American of creating it.

    Neither do I. Just a crazy piece someone made out of driftwood on a rainy afternoon. Boredom can get to you. I read the funnies on Antiquers when I get bored.:D
