Nativity scene, I think bone?

  1. IMG_7502.jpeg IMG_7622.jpeg IMG_7621.jpeg IMG_7509.jpeg IMG_7505.jpeg IMG_7504.jpeg This looks like a cute little resin nativity set until you look under the microscope. There appears to be markings all around them, and fibers of some sort. When heated a needle does not melt the material.

    I'm pretty sure these are castings; if not resin, then some other material.

    "Resin' is a catchall term. It definitely applies to these pieces. Not sure how the presence of tiny threads would prove otherwise. If anything, supports the ID of resin, which can generate static electricity that would hold anything light enough. Should rinse off with ordinary tap water.

    If re-selling, I would use the term 'composite' :p You can see where sometime tried the hot needle test!
