Natural Wonder Inc Ox Blood Thai Vase

Chinese style and very possible that it was made in Thailand.
But how about the Natural Wonder Inc label.
Found some info about the company that had products related to nature and science. This piece is not quite in that category. Anyone familiar with the chain?

They also were a gift shop chain that sold decorative objects. I like this vase a lot,very pretty color.

 

Have you been in some of their shops? So, they we selling any kind of decorative items but not just nature and science inspired?

Yep, you can't go wrong with oxblood glaze if done the right way.

 

Probably from Chiang Mai. Most of the kilns there specialize in celadon, but some do other glazes as well.

Meng Rai kiln in particular does a copper red glaze very much like yours.

Their work is normally marked, but perhaps they do unmarked orders on contract.

I used to go in NAtural Wonders quite a bit. As others have said, gift shop chain, with some oddities I liked. Gizmos and gadgets.
