Featured Navajo silver - "modern"

    I've collected a fair bit of old pawn over the years, but this is the first piece of modern marked navajo silver I've come across. Thought the markings on the knife were interesting - shows they were importing sheffield blades to be used. And wonder whether anyone can approximate the time this would have been made, maybe based on the sheffield marks of the design?

    You've a registry number which dates it to the early 20th, if I'm reading it right, unless it's a US one.

    Here's the 1929 British patent, but would question that White Hogan was importing blades themselves, I'd think more likely the original handles removed, or the blades purchased from U.S. supplier:

    That gels with the invention date of 1928 here. I'd suspect the blades were reused.
