Featured Necklace & Earrings Marked "DD"

    This is another set I've had trouble nailing down a maker on. I've found some other things online with "DD" on them, but the lettering looks different. Any ideas?

    Hi @sassafras

    What are the cameos(?) made of? Glass?

    The mark could be two capital A's, but...

    Judging by the photos, they're hand signed and the impressions look more the way a D would be written - crossbar first, the opposite of an A.

    Someone else can prob be more help with I'd :)

    They look like goldtone and molded glass. No age on the set, or at least not much.

    Thank you both! I think it's actually acrylic rather than glass. I'm finding a lot of 80s jewelry in this batch. Does that time frame sound about right?

    Dead on, probably. The toggle is often much later, but the earrings look straight out of the late 80s so.... close enough.

    The letter marks were made by a stamping tool,but they used their hands for holding thee tools.

    The earrings look like DD. The other could be AA.
