Featured Need help for a porcelain box

    Hello, I just found a unique double layered box.
    Please refer to the images below. Any idea of the age and manufacture. What it is used for?

    Peint main means hand painted in French. It was made by one of the companies in Limoges.
    And as komo said, size matters.;)

    For the OP, this style of mark is post war, generally around the late 1950's to 70's although I've seen them into the 80's as well
