    Hello everybody

I found this clock can anybody over here tell me anything about its age and perhaps the value from it?
I think its old and made of bronze or something like that.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards Michel

The movement does not belong to the case. Someone has taken a reasonably close diameter movement and fitted it into that case but the makers would never have had a clock model with the bell, etc. hanging out the back door.

It is French, late 19th C. and probably gilt spelter, not bronze. A scratch under a foot would show silver colour. The figures on top are usually referred to as Marley horses after the original sculptor.

I don't know where you are, so a value is not really more than a wild guess, but with it being spelter (assuming it is), being a marriage, and with a damaged dial, the value would be fairly modest.

Definitely spelter , and it looks like someone "freshened" it up with gold paint at one point .
