I have a chest of 5 drawers with no markings. Searching online without success finding anything similar. Any ideas on the wood or the style/era of furniture this is?
    Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the information verybrad. Any idea what price someone might value this piece. An antique shop close by wants me to give them an idea what I want for it and I'm just looking for an idea what something like this would go for at an auction or private party.

Really depends on where you are. Here in my semi-rural Midwest location, this would be about $150.00 or so at retail. Could be had for 1/3 to 1/2 that at auction. You might find prices higher in or near a large city.
