    Also called pyrography, or pyro-engraving - made with a heated tool. very popular in the Victorian period.

    These were not necessarily commercial.
    People bought the kits or patterns and did their own pyrography.
    Much like hobbyist china painting.

    Use the term pyrography - you should find plenty of examples.
