Need help identifying era of this family rocking chair

    I inherited this from my great grandmother. The wood is in perfect condition, only a small stain on the upholstery. I would love to know anything you guys have to offer about this piece. I looked underneath and there is no writing or indication of time period or who built it. I should also mention it sits very low and is a small chair (for reference).

    Hi Captain! Welcome.....

    I've known this style rocker to be called the Lincoln Rocker. Many variants. From your photo my guess is early 1900's.....20's?

    Others will be along to offer more reliable opinions.

    I would say that it's been reupholstered at some point.

    Think Judy nailed this, though not quite your typical Lincoln rocker since the arms are practically non-existent.
