Featured Need help identifying Persian silversmith

    Hi, m8s!
    I am new here, this is my first post :)
    I got a little silver bowl. I think that it is from Iran and it has silver mark 84. I understand that 84 is not .875 silver, but anyway it is silver.
    I am interested who is the maker and what is the region this bowl came from.

    It is gorgeous. I don't know the maker's mark, but the style looks Isfahan to me.
    You're right, the Persian 84 mark, although copied from the Russian 84 zolotniki mark (.875 millessimal fineness), was used for .840 fineness silver.

    Yes, it is really nice.
    It is 86 mm high. I bought it at local garage sale.
