Need help identifying plate, help!

Hello,

My late uncle passed on two large plates would love to know if anyone has any idea what they are.
No markings on the back, they're large heavy, not translucent, bold blue border with gold trim,
He travelled a lot so not sure of origin, but he was English,

Let me help you with the 'full image' part. I know you said there are no marks on the back, but people will want to see the back anyway. Even a bare back can reveal its secrets.

 

That may well be 18th C, but the back is needed. The decoration is an armorial, painted by someone who had never ever seen a leopard. Which is why I suspect late 18th. Colour of the border is lovely. Coalport, maybe.

 

Looks more like a striped tiger.

 

Could be, i was squinting at it, rather.

Ta for that, certainly Tigger! A passant one.

 

I did look through Fairbairn's Crests of the Families of Great Britain and Ireland and the only tiger passant, looking at you, one paw up, no other items, was this one. It has quite a different look.

 

That was during a brief period when it was suffering from depression.

 

Here's some similar. All supposedly the Keats family crest. Beast described as a mountain cat.
