Need help identifying pottery plates

    I cannot understand what is written on the back. Any thoughts?

    The wording at bottom appears to say "Fezzante M." or "Ferrante M." which should be the name of the painter with surname first and first initial last, followed by "ref. San Marino." Wording at top is -- to me -- indecipherable. If you do an internet search for San Marino ceramics, other MCM examples come up. (And who knew San Marino produced art pottery?)
