Featured Need help identifying this buffet

I was given this 25 years ago, I think it’s maple. I was wondering around what year it was made. Or possibly who made it?

 

My first impression is 1970s art nouveau.

Take a look on the back of it for manufacturing text or markings.

 

Where are you located ? It could help narrow down the maker .

 

thanks for that I’ll research some more. It looks like there was a paper glued to back but it’s not there anymore, I’ve never looked on the bottom though .

 

In NJ , this was a friends great aunts piece. Not sure where she’s from . Thanks for the suggestion

 

Agree, 70s or later. That speckled finish is a hallmark of that era. Not sure this is American. I don't think it is maple but hard telling what it is from this one picture.
