Need help identifying this Silver piece

    Hi everyone,

    It's been a pleasure to be a part of this forum. I have this silver piece that I'm unsure what it is. I have attached a couple of photos. Any help is appreciated.

    How big is it? It might be a frame for a butter dish. Whatever it is involved resting a knife or spoon in the 2 uprights.

    Thank you for taking a look at it. I think you might be right. It is 7 inches in diameter. From what period do you think it is ?

    Hard to give a time frame because the style is one of those "ageless' ones. Certainly unlikely to be "modern" in the 1980's and forward sense. Could be any time before then. I have never seen that mark before.

    Yes, that looks very similar. The piece I have doesn't have a mark EP and WM.
