need help identifying unknown area rug

    Does anyone know anything about this rug's pattern or possible origin?

    Hi,
    I can not see the back very well so I must guess that it is machine made and newer. If it was an old rug with that much green it would be extremely valuable.
    That's the trouble with seeing photographs and not being able to touch the item.

    Yes it could certainly be Turkish as well....hard to tell because the contemporary rugs all start looking the same to me. Someone who knows rugs better will chime in and correct me LOL!!!!

    Please pardon my ignorance: what on earth is the point in a spam post asking if a cheap machine made rug is worth something? I simply do not understand what anyone might gain from doing that.
