Need help in identifying this painting

Guys here i have attached an image of a painting. i think its and oil painting. then again i am not much familiar with oil paintings. any guys familiar with Sri Lankan paintings. As far as i know it is from some one of the group of 43. (then again it is what i was told). a famous set of painters.

 

I don't know Sri Lankan painting, but I immediately recognised this as Sri Lankan by the dress of the drummers.

Looks like Genevieve Alles.
There is a Sri Lankan painter called Marie Alles Fernando, maybe a relative?

I can't find her name among the 43 group, but did read they also promoted traditional dance forms. This painting certainly does that, lovely!

Alles is originally a Dutch name, it is one of those European names that stayed on in Sri Lanka, just like your own Portuguese sounding name.

 

Hey yeah thanks a lot. If not for you i would have never found out about that. Yeah that is also from Portuguese i think haha. There are lot people from Portuguese around the coastal belt of Sri Lanka. and out of the painters Group of 43 are the most famous. Recently there was a famous auction which sold some of their works.
