Hello, I found this lamp from a local estate sale.
There are some crack on the glasses. Could anyone tell me if this is authentic and what is a reasonable market value? 652391308_fl.jpg 652391317_fl.jpg 652391325_fl.jpg 652391337_fl.jpg 652391347_fl.jpg 652391375_fl.jpg 652391361_fl.jpg 652391382_fl.jpg 652391389_fl.jpg 652391397_fl.jpg

I am not an expert on Tiffany, however, the marking looks odd to me. It is not uniformly spaced horizontally on the band and ascends toward the top of the band. I believe Tiffany's quality inspector would have rejected the component. JMO.

Looks right to me based on materials and workmanship. Can't speak to what the tag should look like.

    Yeah, some local estate sale!
I just went to one that had a six pack of Billy Beer. That's just about as good as a Tiffany lamp, right?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Looks right to me, too! Nice in any case!!

Better photo of the six socket cluster will help - they look possibly like they're from the early 20th c., but what's wrong is they're twist switches, not pull chain which they would have been. If someone has replaced the switches & socket housings, it was a big mistake.

The glass work looks beautiful. My guess is that this is the real deal.

I've seen plenty of original Tiffany lamps with paddle switches like the O.P.'s.

I can't stop looking at the top; it looks like something is missing or it has been deconstructed. Looks like Tiffany but maybe not original to the base?

I'm confused. . .I thought you had bought this at an estate sale, but instead you were watching a local auction?
