Need help to identify a pair of blades

    Hello I found the following blades from a local estate sale. I wonder if there is any collectable value on them? Any suggestion? could be US military of civil war? img2.axd.jpeg img.axd.jpeg 布拉德.JPG

    those look dug up in a farmers field..............
    if u can match the markings....maybe some value still there, but with no handles....not much...
    if they were Confederate..........more interest there...

    You could search "AMES MANUFACTURING COMPANY, CHICOPEE, MASSACHUSETTS"
    They made swords for the Union during the civil war period
