Need help to identify the Artist

    Hi,my grandpa has some paintings, end I need help to identify the signature/artist. Thanks!

    Yes, yes and yes.:D

    The first painting, with the Dutch shoes etc, is inspired by the work of Dutch 'Haagse School' (the Hague School) painter Jozef Israëls. Jozef Israëls painted mostly everyday scenes of poor fishermen and their families.
    The signature looks like P. or D. Rietman, which is a Dutch name.

    The signature of the second one looks like J. Käude. Both painter and buildings could be German.
