Need help to identify these two porcelain jars. Are they Japanese porcelain? One jar marked "RC#" on the bottom. The other Jar has a hole on the cap and on the bottom. In addition, there is another hole on the side of the bottom rim. Does anyone know what is the purpose of these three holes?

    Thanks!

What makes you think they might be Japanese?

They look like continental Delftware or Faience.

Yes, with the fleur de lis motif, I'd expect them to be continental. Would you be kind enough to post a photograph of the RC# mark?

Doesn't look like porcelain. It could be stoneware.

How large are they? They look, to my eye, like studio pottery in the manner of delft wares. They also look like lamp bases.

They are about 6" in height.
