It has a "L" signature on the center cane. Any suggestion of the name and age? Thanks for your input. IMG_2198 (2).JPG

    Welcome to the forum!!! :happy::happy::happy:

The paperweight gurus will may know without additional photos, but it is always good to show the entire piece & a photo of the bottom.

Besides we all like to drool over eye candy & this one looks to be drool worthy. ;):p:D:D:D

I keep trying to remember who used that L cane.

Oh, hang on. Might it be a Y rather than an L? I'm thinking Ysart.

    Yes--Y = Yasart. ;)

Update---so far "L"= nothing in my research :(
Still hoping OP posts more photos..

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Could it also or otherwise be a 'V' ??

I don't think this is a Paul Ysart weight (but have been wrong many times:)) he used PY, H or no signature cane, most of his weights will also react under a blacklight
information on his weights in the link below
    https://www.theglassmuseum.com/ysart.htm
looks like a nice weight Jingyel:) well worth posting on the glass message board to get an id
    https://www.glassmessages.com
there is a facebook group also
    https://www.facebook.com/groups/paperweightheaven/
If it was mine I'd use the glass message board first. Not sure where you are located but most of the posters are overseas so it could seem to take a bit before you get a response.
I had one that the signature cane looked like a 1 but it turns out it was a backwards J for Jay Glass (John Deacons)
Let us know what you find out

Thank you CXgirl for the help. I am in Illinois. I tried to post the photo on glass message board, but the requirement for photo size is quite confusing. Initially it said the size limit is 500k, I reduced the photo size to 400k, then it told me it has size limit is 125k.....

here are some of the 'Y' canes used by Salvador Ysart, the article says they can be confused with a V cane but I don't think yours is either letter, I see it as an 'L'. Most of the weights by the Ysart family seem to be dome rather than facet cuts, but again I could be wrong:)
