    Could you please show us sides, bottom, how/when/where acquired??? It would/could help us to help you!!! FIRST glance it looks like some sort of scale, but that's just looking down from the top......not a lot of help!!! Thanks!!:happy::happy:

    Open all of its movable parts.
    To me it looks like a motion picture film splicer.

    I think it is some kind of press.Just wonder what it was used for. Bought on car boot sale among the other scrap... Thank you

    I'm still going with motion picture film splicer.
    Is the groove in the wood 8mm or 16mm ?
