Need help with artist i.d. and value

    I acquired this stone sculpture at an estate sale and have not been able to identify the artist fro what is apparently the signature at the base. It is quite heavy and is a red mottled stone

    Any help would be most appreciated as I have it for sale on Ebay but may be significantly overpriced

    I am wondering if this is an african made sculpture that Cleveland museum of arts sold in their gift shop ? I say that because 'cma' google only shows them or Austin Productions.I could be way wrong though.Love the lines regardless.

    Thanks for your thought. I have just emailed the curator at the CMA to ask him about it.
