    The triangular mark is a Birmingham uk import mark.
    If you look up Birmingham silver date marks that will tell you what year the u in that shape designates.

    The italic "u" is 1994 (July 1994 to June 1995, to be precise)

    "RFT" is likely too recent to be in the guides?

    BTW Judy. It does help if you show the whole item. People get to know what sort of items silversmiths make, and give dimensions as it usually helps. Thanks.
