Need help with embroidered panel, age, origin?

    Found this really pretty embroidered silk panel a few weeks ago. It looks Asian to me. The frame is gilded mahogany. The embroidery is very fine. Wondering about age and possibly where it was made. Measures 24" x 14". Any info is greatly appreciated.

    Jivvy the research is my favorite

    Could be "made for export" and Chinese, but I suspect "Asian-inspired" Western kit.

    Don't really know for certain.

    Pictures taken without a flash and in better light wouldn't hurt identification possibilities.

    Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    Very pretty -- I love botanical subjects! I'm with Jivvy on this regarding the photography. It makes it look more dramatic but it's harder to see the details.
