Need help with ID of stone/polished rock

    Unakite is a type of Jasper so reader is correct.:rolleyes:

    Unakite is altered granite which is not jasper in any way.

    Confusing! I don't know if it is jasper or granite.

    It is a form of granite that has been altered - so a metamorphic form of granite. It is not jasper. Some people call it jasper - but that does not make it jasper.

    And thanks from me too. The funniest part is that I saw the obviously same stone on beads identified here right after I posted and intended to correct but went into a film and just got out.
