    Hi,
I bought this ring at a garage sale for $20. I am captivated by it. I have NEVER seen anything remotely like it, neither has GOOGLE, from what I can ascertain. Anybody have any idea where it could be from? It acid tests at 14kt. The stones? I've no clue. I feel like Gollum with the One Ring! Lol. Help!

Looks like the plating is coming off, stones questionable and possibly from Thailand.

If google hasn't seen it....that's a bad thing.....don't make it one of a kind !
The stones look glued on and poorly set.....& I doubt any more that just glass.
Plating could test for gold...... a jeweler will tell you right away..!

    Hi Jon, welcome on board!:)
Always click the option post all images full size after uploading:cyclops: They will appear as above! Better for all to see;)

Glued "stones" is obvious and not a good sign for genuine precious materials...:(

Is there a mark on the band, I can guess one in last pic:cyclops:?

Welcome Jon. It certainly is unusual, and attractive in a way.
A thickly plated item can also test positive for gold. As the others said, glued in stones are not a sign of precious quality.
Could you show us a photo of the mark, near the right side of her face, in the oval outline?
