Featured need help with signature on glass

    Hi, I acquired this today at my local thrift shop and i noticed a signature on the bottom which is hard to make out. I believe the first name is joe but the last name has me stumped. also its dated 1985 i believe. Also has the letter "Z" on the bottom. I was wondering if anyone recognized the signature?     Joe Zimmerman. He was killed in 1986 I think.

    That's him! That is very sad! Looking at his work he did some nice glass blowing. Thank you all for the help!
