Need identification of antique bed #2

Please help me identify this bed hand carved with hewn boards not. Circular saw wooden wheel on the bottom of headboard. No symmetry carved by hand multiple types of wood of unknown orogins

 

Would call it ca. 1920s, mostly walnut.

 

Any value you think?

 

It seriously needs to be refinished.

Is it a double size? Do you have the side rails?

Often beds back then were what is now commonly called 3/4 size. If that is the size, they require a special made mattress and most people don't want them.

 

Yes i do I just didn't quite have the room to put it up. All i've done is damp rag wipe them so far , having recently pulled them from underneathe a house set for demolition. Luckily it was dry dirt. The mattress spacing would allow 54" and not much more if any. So yes it's a double bed.

 

Agree with a 20s date. Walnut veneers with lesser wood solids stained to match Little value in today's market, as most want at least queen size for 2 people to sleep. Here in my Midwest semi-rural location, maybe $150.00 very top at retail. Less than $50.00 at auction or other wholesale venue. You might do better (or worse) in your market.
