Hello everyone. My best friend just moved and we were helping her. She has two Broyhill chairs that are wooden with a gold velour-type seat covering. They have very ornate backs. We would like help with any information someone may be able to give on them. There is an identifying label on the bottom of one seat. Would anyone happen to know the rarity of these chairs, if they may be worth keeping, etc.? They say “Broyhill Conover Furniture Co.” Cut 811 Suite/Item 5245/81 Fabric No. 007-24. I will attach a photo of each of the tags, the entire chair and the ornate chair back if possible. chairs2.jpg chairs1.jpg chairs3.jpg chairs4.jpg

What information are you seeking that is not on the labels?

    That's a easy/hard question to answer....."are they worth keeping".

If you like them, then yes.........If not, offer them for sale.

I think they are from the 70's era, but the furniture people will know better. I think they may be Mediterrean in style........others will know.

Value? Depends on where you live.

Broyhill is a large company and these chairs would have been mass produced.
    I agree with 1970s dating.
They were likely part of a larger dining set.
In my area, I'd consider myself lucky to get $50 for the pair... if they sold at all.

70s Mediterranean or Spanish revival. Agree with the above value for my Midwest neck of the woods. There is slight interest in this furniture but would suspect more in CA where they have homes that this would fit in with best.
