Featured Need more information on arm band or ankle bracelets

My parents lived in Indonesia for a number of years in the late 70's and my guess is they picked these up there. They are very heavy at 370 grams inner opening 3.25" to 3.75". I am a small woman and it fits tight on my upper arms and I can not get it over my heel. They are not magnetic . If old how old? and what would you call them. Silver plate over brass? Thank you for any help in advance.

Very nice, Lark. Yes, they are both Indonesian, but I am not sure where from exactly. The one with the straight ends could be from Lombok.

Difficult to say, but at least pre-1950. They could be older.
