Hello everyone, please help with vase marking. This piece stands about 6" high. It is not a heavy paste porcelain. The light goes right through it. I see an Island, mountains, and sailboat on vase. Looks hand painted. I am a rookie at this stuff so bear with me. I can make out the France on bottom but can't make out underneath France, (Limoges ?) Also, gold mark on bottom, I have no clue what that says. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks IMG_4057.JPG IMG_4057.JPG IMG_4058.JPG IMG_4056.JPG IMG_4060.JPG

I think the second word might be "Depose". It is not a Limoges mark I recognize. The gold letters/numbers are probably some type of decorator code and not particularly useful for identification purposes. My guess would be an early 20th century piece which was mass produced for export. It's unlikely we'll find out much more. Hopefully someone will come along more experience with these pieces than I have.

I think it was sold as white ware that a hobbyist painted
The gold colored letters are probably the painter's initials or name.

I see the resemblance, but can't quite see DEPOSÉ as the second word; that character in the middle just doesn't look like a P to me. In case it helps anyone:
