need suggestion to ship an art print

Hello, I have a matted print as show below, just sold to a buyer.

I wonder if there is an easy way to ship it. Since it has mate, I can not ship it as a roll. Any suggestion? approximate image size 17 1/2" x 21 1/2"

I use thick double cardboard on each side....with foam core sheet covering the print face...or a sheet of corregated plastic....
two inches wider than the total size of the mat..
& I make sure the card board is facing different directions on either side to help prevent any folding..

I also use a thick plastic tape on the outside to help prevent denting or penetration...

 

depending on the shipping or the cost of the print....I might use a sheet of bristle board...

 

Are you shipping it in the frame and with glass?
