I found this wonderful potato masher(?) and can't find anything online the same exact size. Also was wondering if there is a link to manufacturers that made them. I have no idea the age of this item. It is 10.5" tall and at widest base point is 2.5". Everything I find it 1/2" shorter or wider etc. I expect them to be off a little bit from wear, but not a full half inch.

When I click on that it comes up with a maritime pounder. I find that happens alot with picclick. I can find quite a few similar mashers, but the measurements are always off.

I imagine these could be made by any competent wood turner, and would therefore be quite variable.

"The earliest mashers were handmade from a single piece of wood. They resemble a club with a flat end. Crafted by hand in various sizes, some have more intricate knobs and turns. Later, these wooden specimens were machine-made.
Turned wooden potato mashers collectors come across today were most often made from hard maple and generally measure from 10 to 12 inches in length.
The majority of these wooden mashers, sometimes called beetles, can be found for $5 to $20, depending on the quality. But rare tiger maple mashers can cost upwards of $100."
