    Hi,
Could someone help me with some information related to the item shown in the images? It is a needle made of silver and coral, but I do not know how it is used or how old it is.

    Thanks in advance!!

Still time for you to edit and click "full image" for your pics:cyclops:
It is a stick pin, to wear on a cravat, coral cameo, somewhere around 1880:)

I respectfully disagree, it is too short for a hat pin, I believe it is a stick pin like Kyra said :)

Stick pin, made to hold a man's tie in place originally. Ladies nabbed them later.

Ha, from the back it is later than 1880s.
Thinking 1920, with re-use of an old coral cameo:cyclops:

I will try to click Full image in my next item. As I'm closed at home due the COVID-19, I have time to show my items.

Strikes me as a coral cameo stickpin that is a blend of art nouveau & art deco in influence on style. I'd place it 20s-30s. Cameo is consistent with that period.

BTW, think when you want to make an edit to a post involving photos, you also then have to choose 'more options' as well before you can do it?

Stick pin or lapel pin, not hat pin. Not long enough

That was more a question seeking confirmation from the old hands who advise simply going into edit to change photos. For text, that's all it takes; believe photos take an additional step to change. You were the one reader not expected to answer the question. :)
