Yes I did, to no avail. 3 times I amended it and then it just wouldn’t be corrected. I felt it had got annoyed with me.

Oh cool, thank you for sharing the story. I don't know about the Yorkshire Museum website and what they choose to put in their online collections, but I hope they allow some photos for those of us stuck a continent away :)

The Museum are trying to raise the funds to buy it. I hope they can. Most of the Museums here are pretty good for sharing their collections.

That's a common but dangerous response to so many of our 'modern conveniences'. Rage Against The Machine!

Absolutely extraordinary find-We just saw a Brit Museum vid on YouTube this morning-the clump of materials is massive.
"Much of the hoard was found to be either burnt or broken, which the team believes suggests some kind of symbolic process to display wealth and power. It is thought the objects could have been burnt on a funerary pyre before they were buried, but no human remains have been found."

After using an iPad for years I’ve never had to correct something 3 times before and then have it set and unable to be corrected so I’m usually ok with the autocorrect. Think it helps me more than hinders.

That is certainly so in my case, but like the little girl with the little curl...When she was bad, she was horrid!

Auto correct makes me crazy, I had to tun it off. I wish it would stop making everyone's plurals possessive!!!!!!
