If you live in the eastern half of the U.S. and/or Canada, you've had enough violent storms and rain to last awhile. Fortunately, I made new friends who also happen to be a marvelous art glass connection. I'll post these in Glassie land for a more expert opinion, but wanted to share in this forum as well.

So: The first is a bride basket with a quadruple-plated silver bass by Simpson Hall Miller & Co. with an art glass basket in a moire pattern. I'm thinking ca. 1890s.

The second is an Arsall iris vase from France, I'm guessing ca. 1900. It's 14 inches U.S. tall! 2.jpeg

No real questions, just wanted to share and point out that not even a deadly storm can keep an antiquer down!

Purdy. I'm not a big fan of high Victorian glass, but I like the vase.
