New here...need help drafting table

Hi there, I'm new here and I'm hoping you knowledgeable antique lovers could help me. I've recently purchased this vintage/antique drafting table and I'm trying to ascertain value to decide whether to keep or sell. Second photo shows 1920 on the iron part. I'm having a hard time finding info online. Does any one have any valuable input? Thank you in advance.

 

looks like possibly Hamilton; they different sizes and similar designs for many years.

 

Hi, thanks for your inpput TallCakes. I read about Hamilton's....I was thinking possibly that as well. Most Hamilton's have some sort of label to identify them but sadly, mine doesn't. It just has the 1920 on the iron part. It still works perfectly which is pretty cool!

 

As an aside , I would SO use that as a dining table ! Love the industrial , yet warm tone .

I would say the 1920 is the casting part number - not an actual year.

 

I was thinking the same thing! Restoration Hardware has a reproduction drafting table for approx. $1,700. I paid $35 for an original....not bad, right? I think it would make a gorgeous dining room table!
