New mystery piece: girl with grapes, some inscription on the base

    I purchased a few days ago but not yet in my posession so this is almost all I have to show at the moment. ANy ideas who made this? looks German to me 1.jpg 2.jpg 1.jpg 3.jpg 6.jpg 5.jpg 4.jpg

    there's some sort of signature on the bottom. Is the level of workmanship that of a Meissen?

    Inverted & changed hue/saturation to TRY to bring out whatever is faintly visible.....hopefully someone else is better at trying to read it than I am......I'm thinking that's an old cursive 'Q'???

    Doubt that the numbers are anything but model or production ones.

    Yes but my question is why would someone fake a model number and not the makers mark? I'm guessing its authentic from some company...
